Workstation for the assembly of product housings with very precise measurement with profilometer and camera
It is a stand-alone workstation used to accurately assemble two parts of a product with a minimum gap width of less than 1 mm.
In this case, we equipped the ELVAC Vision system with a camera with a telecentric lens that allows very precise measurement of the free space for the placement of the filling pads.
Another essential component we have implemented is the profilometer. It is used in the final inspection of the pressing of individual components, where it guarantees the accuracy of the connection and compliance with the process parameters.
