Complete multi-camera inspection of products on conveyors
We added two evaluation stations to the customer’s existing conveyor line to detect paint spray quality, surface deformation and measure product width.
ELVAC Vision can operate on 20 product colour variants from dark black to light grey. Its evaluation is based on non-neural networks with a reliability of over 95%.
The entire system is set up to synchronise the control images from all cameras at a conveyor speed of 2 m/s.
The key strengths of ELVAC Vision in this project are:
- Detection and classification of defects into groups according to type
- Comprehensive evaluation based on 6 area and line cameras
- Product width measurement with an accuracy of better than ± 0.2 mm
